Statistics are a crucial part of industrial processes and are used to maintain control and to monitor the performance of product and process.
This course aims to provide an understanding of the application of statistics to industrial process control and also how they can be used to help plan experimentation to gain maximum efficiency from the effort required to carry out the plan.
It comprises a 2 day course which can be tailored to your needs but will be based on:
Day 1
Basic statistics – understanding the mean and variances
process control statistics
statistics in quality systems
Data analysis
Day 2
Regression and mulitvariate analysis
Basic experimental design
including Screening Designs,Taguchi, and Response Surface Analysis
