Stephen Millington elected Vice Chair at the SAA

Stephen Millington of ARTIS has been elected Vice-Chairman of the Society for Adhesion and Adhesives (SAA).  The science and technology of adhesion and adhesives is an exceedingly active field and the UK has a long and distinguished history and a continuing high reputation.  Stephen's appointment showcases the depth of experience ARTIS has to offer with the increasingly sophisticated complex structures of materials today.  

The SAA is a committee within the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3) with primary focus within the UK for the science and technology of adhesion and adhesives.  It has almost 300 members world-wide and organises two major international conferences every three years and two one-day seminars each year, one in the Spring and the second in the Winter.  

Stephen's tenure as Vice-Chairman lasts three years at the end of which he will replace the current Chairman Professor Steve Shaw.
