Following the closure of the Zeon Chemicals plant at Barry in South Wales ARTIS has acquired several new pieces of equipment including a new FID GC with thermal desorbing station, Ion chromatography capability, a new UV spectroscope, and microwave furnace.
The equipment will compliment the outstanding facilities already available at ARTIS enhancing the analytical capability and contributing to the work already being undertaken on understanding filler recovery through pyrolysis and recycling of rubber materials in general.
