About ARTIS

ARTIS was created as a result of the reorganisation of Avon Rubber in 2007, and has been set up as a world class facility to serve R&D business needs. We house a mixture of existing and new, state of the art equipment with which we provide services to operations for material development & testing.

Our team of skilled engineers and scientists have at their disposal a comprehensive range of equipment to cover the compounding and manufacture of elastomer compounds and the subsequent physical, mechanical, and chemical evaluation of their properties. Our expertise stems from many years supporting a global manufacturing base serving the automotive and industrial rubber goods markets, covering a huge range of polymer types as well as non rubber applications. We offer a range of services from basic compounding and testing through to highly specialised chemical analysis, design and development of product and process, consultancy and expert witness services. We can deal with all of your development requirements, allowing you concentrate on running your business, and satisfy your customer’s needs. ARTIS operates to national and International standards in all test procedures it carries out.
