The team at ARTIS have spent many years developing rubber compounds for manufacture and as part of part of the overall product development cycle. Experience allows the rapid “tuning “ of a compound to meet any given specification. Working the automotive and defence sectors in the past means that very demanding specs have had to be met at low cost and with high reliability, as well as ensuring manufacturability.
As well as rubber compounds ARTIS have been involved with the materials selection for a number of non – rubber products / applications including thermoplastics, silicones, polyurethanes, TPE/TPVs, and bonding agents.
Follow the case study link for details of work carried out on compound development of treated nanoclays in rubber.
